What makes the icing on the Tacoma wedding cake

The wedding cake is the centerpiece of the reception. There are so many choices when picking out a wedding cake. The biggest choice is to fondant or not to fondant. Fondant provides a nice smooth finish to the wedding cake and comes in every imaginable color. The next choice for a wedding cake is what kind of design to use. The best wedding cake design comes down to the overall theme for the wedding. Then there is that question, should we have a groom’s cake. The groom’s cake can add that little flare to the wedding reception and one more chance to impress your guests. This Tacoma wedding photographer loves to see all the different type of wedding cakes!

Getting into the Tacoma music scene

A friend of mine asked if I could take a break from wedding photography and shoot some band photography for them. Being the fact that I just moved back from South Florida, this Tacoma photographer was excited to do some photography work for a local Tacoma band. The Tacoma music scene is the next big up and coming music scene with so many great bands playing around downtown Tacoma. The guys from Cry of Sickness were awesome to work with! I can’t wait til their album comes out.

Misty and Victor’s amazing Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden

What an incredible day for a June wedding in the Northwest! This Northwest wedding photographer was thrilled to photograph this destination wedding for the bride and groom. Misty and her bridesmaids prepared themselves in the community center that is part of the Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden. The ceremony was held in the very romantic Seattle Rose Society Celebration Garden located inside the Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden.

Taking advantage of the incredibly wonderful day, this Northwest wedding photographer had Misty and Victor walk around Elda Behm’s Paradise Garden and the Seike Japanese Garden for some lovely photographs. The weather and the location added to the joyful mood of the day. The reception took place at the Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden community center, where it was decorated to match the romantic setting of the rose garden.
